What is your Dana and Tina story?

My story is both sad and happy. Dana was a lovely blue female Great Dane.

If we had to leave her during a holiday, Akuna Care was the place to be.

Of course the quality accommodation, quality food, and carers who love dogs were important but PLAY TIME was even better. I had never experienced a happy, smiling and exhausted dog when coming home from a kennel before.

Unfortunately, Dana was tragically taken from our lives in an accident.

Our breeder, Gayle Revill, in Victoria was most compassionate and caring and allowed us to adopt Dana's niece, who we named Tina (father is Thomas and mother is Dina, I think you can figure out where the name came from).

Although she is different to Dana, Tina has managed to fill an empty hole in our hearts and is a joy to live with. So when a weekend away with the girls was planned (unfortunately one girl couldn't come!), Akuna Care was the place to be. As I sit here and write this note, Tina is sleeping very soundly and hasn't hardly said hello upon arriving home. So obviously the trend is being continued, lots of PLAY TIME has resulted in yet again an exhausted dog! Can you see the smile in the photo???
