| Favourite story |
The smallest of our three dogs at a mere 4.5 kg, Spotty is nonetheless the bravest and chases anything that moves. She once crashed straight through a glass window in her eagerness to get to a duck in our pool. She then chased the duck around the pool and out the gate onto the lawn, where another one of our dogs, Tugga obliged by biting the duck on it's bum and hanging on for dear life while Spotty circled ready for the kill. Just as she pounced, the duck struggled out of Tugga's mouth leaving it's bottom behind. The sight of tugga with a mouth full of tail feathers and spotty jumping in the air trying to catch the flying duck had me in tears of laughter for hours afterwards. Priceless.
Junior is the youngest of our trio Moodles (Maltese/Poodle), the offspring of Spotty [mum] and Tugga [dad]. Although he's eight he is the eternal puppy. Junior went through a phase of eating holes in any underwear that we were careless enough to leave on the floor. His major feat was munching a large, neat, round hole in my brand new green silk dressing gown two days after I received it as a birthday present. Nowadays he just eats food - but not necessarily his. One day while eating Chinese takeaway I had to take a phone call in another room and stupidly put my plate on the coffee table. I returned to find that my meal had disappeared, apart from a few grains of fried rice on the floor and sweet and sour sauce smeared all over the face of one very guilty looking - but replete dog.
