Why you first choose Akuna Care?

We looked at the different kennels in the Yellow Pages and then looked at your website.
I took the girls to visit and they seemed happy and the facilities seemed clean and professional.

Why you continued to use our service?

Our girls are very active and we felt confident that they would get lot's of exercise.
It was also important to us to make sure they would be together.
When we met Ariel, I thought she was very calm and knowledgeable, with a genuine love of animals.

What is your favourite Matilda and Scout story?

Matilda had a very traumatic puppyhood. Her litter was abandoned in a back yard when her family moved house. We adopted her and when she first came home she was very thin, mangy, aggressive, smelly and basically a very sorry looking little girl.
Scout thought she was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen and watched her patiently enduring lots of bites and growls whilst she slowly taught Matilda how to play like a puppy. It was very toughing to see.
Now Matilda is very active and healthy and the two girls are inseparable.
Rescuing Matilda has been such a rewarding experience for our family, though we are pretty sure that Scout still thinks that Matilda was a present just for her.
