Why you first chose to use Akuna Care?

We first came across Akuna Care when we were looking for a new boarding home for Tommy online. It seems that Akuna is very spacious and comfortable due to its closeness with nature. We decided to give it a call and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This had initiated Tommy's first stay with Akuna Care

Why you continue to use our service?

With the previous boarding home, Tommy always shivered on his way there. His voice always seemed scared and exhausted whenever he came back and his fur would be tangled and messy. On Tommy's return from his first stay with Akuna, we were surprised to find out that he looked fit and really happy! Not only is his voice normal, he also looks really neat and tidy.
We felt that Akuna Care is a place where we can trust Tommy to and most importantly we know that he is being properly looked after and is having a great time with other happy dogs.

Favourite Tommy story.

It's hard to pick a favourite Tommy story so we'll tell some interesting facts and habits of Tommy.
Tommy has a bad habit of wee-ing of occasionally in the wrong places, eg, curtains, carpets,etc (this happens especially when he is alone at home). Initially, whenever we get home, we have to do a thorough carpet search for any trace of wee. If we found any, Tommy will get his punishment for his naughtiness. As time goes by, we can get the answer by just asking him "Tommy, have you been naughty wee-ing everywhere?" with a frown. If Tommy bends his ears backward, tucking his tail below him and sneaking quietly into the bedroom, we know he is up to no good. But if he continues sleeping or give us "I don't care" look, then he has been a good boy.
Once we took Tommy for a long road trip for cherry picking and fishing. He was all excited when we were packing our stuff and getting ready. When he got in the car, he was jumping everywhere and looking out the window eagerly. However, after a while we found him to be sitting very quietly on his seat, not moving a single bit, but it was soon after that we realized that Tommy was car sick! It was funny and a rare chance to get a glimpse of the obedient quiet boy!
